Musou Mode
In the main mode, Musou Mode, play as the famous military commanders Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi and experience their stories taking place during the Sengoku period.
A new story unfolds through the eyes of Nobunaga and Mitsuhide as you witness Nobunaga's younger years, the meeting between Nobunaga and Mitsuhide, the fierce battle-to-the-death involving the Oda family, and the Incident at Honnōji.
Citadel Mode
By playing this sub-mode, Citadel Mode, you can collect resources which can be used to
upgrade the various buildings in the My Castle menu.
The battles in Citadel Mode consist of the player protecting
their base and either defending against oncoming enemies or defeating them.
Many missions will appear throughout the battle and by
completing them you will be scored based on the time it takes to finish the battle.
In Citadel Mode, troops are utilized instead of items.
The different troops you summon will unleash a strong attack and then remain
in that location and defend against the invading enemies.
As characters take part in a battle together, their Friendship Level will increase.
If their Friendship Levels is maxed out,
you can view special scenes not featured in the Musou Mode in the Hermit's Retreat.
Vault
The Vault allows players to check their play log and completed missions, as well as view event scenes, listen to BGM songs and learn more about the history of the Samurai Warriors in the Biographies section.
