A licensed alchemist who lives in the lakeside town of Flussheim. She has a very serious and stern personality. She is highly skilled, and serious about alchemy as well. She deeply resents those who abuse alchemy.

She speaks her mind quite honestly, and those around her think she's scary as a result.

Secretly, she is troubled by this as well.
Ren is serious and strict. Normally, she comes off as high handed or scary when she speaks, something that she herself finds problematic as well.
