The foundation of all kinds of karakuri and a means for hunters to scale steep walls of rock. There's strength in its simplicity, and it even comes in handy as a makeshift shield.

Faster means farther. With this spring the hunter corners kemono in a flash. Nothing matches the leap it supplies to the legs.
Glider
Powered by celestial thread, the wings of this karakuri spin like maple seed pods to hoist the hunter into the air. Sheer ground can be cleared with ease, giving vantage over any kemono.
Flying Vine
Sometimes the hunter must take to the skies. Let an arrow fly, and traverse the line it carries behind. Where it holds fast—be that cliff face or kemono back—the hunter can be there in the blink of an eye.
Hunter's Tent
A makeshift canvas shelter from which a hunt can be staged. Any number of hours can be whiled away in one of these, but if it's during a hunt, kemono may well slip away and regain some strength.

Powerful leverage brings down a massive hammerhead with terrifying force. A single blow can stop a kemono in its tracks and crush any horror the beast might spawn.
Healing Vaporizer
Flooding the air with a mist of curative water, this karakuri can heal wounds and neutralize toxins, though it only has enough volume to cure a single ailment.
