To celebrate the "Tales of" series & "Gust" collaboration, the update brings with it the free additional content "Tales of Arise" Collaboration Accessories.
Characters can put on the accessories "Alphen's Iron Mask", "Shionne's Hair Ornament" or "Owl King Doll," and after changing your outfit, you can enjoy events, battles, and exploration while wearing these accessories!

*Items 1~4 and items 8~13 will add one costume for each character named. To change costumes, go to the desk in the atelier and select the costume from the “Changing Room.”

*Item 5 will add 10 new materials synthesis recipes, and 2 new catalysts.

*Item 6 will add 10 new consumable item recipes, and 5 new talisman recipes.

*Items 5~6 will add new recipes and catalysts which can be purchased from Gnome in the Crystal Sparkle Pavilion after making progress in the story.

New photo frames and poses added!

New photo frames and poses have been added in the photo mode! Arrange the poses of each character, change the time of day, select a frame, filter and the characters' facial expressions to create your own memorable photos with the upgraded Photo Mode.

Highest difficulty level “LEGEND” added! Take on even stronger enemies!

Enemies are now stronger than before in the new difficulty level “LEGEND." Use your powered-up Sophie and her friends and test your strength in this new difficulty level.

*Sophie's costume "Ao's uniform" is available to those who have the system data that includes both Sophie's costume "Comfy and Casual" (the limited time bonus for "Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream"), and "Summer Bikini" (the early purchase bonus for "BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light").

*After applying the tie-up bonus update, install the tie-up bonus for each of the two titles, play the game to create and save the new system data which will then add the early purchase bonus to the game.

*The user ID (account) used for playing both games must be the same as the user ID (account) that possesses the save data of the tie-up bonus.

*The system data for both titles must be for the same platform and saved on the same hardware (console/PC).

*Sophie's costume "Ao's uniform" may be made available for sale at a later date.

The bosses have returned and they're stronger than ever!
Battle stronger versions of the bosses in a continuous battle in the "Boss Rush Battle" mode

A new mode "Boss Rush Battle" has been added that allows you to continuously fight enhanced versions of bosses that appeared in Sophie 2! You can enjoy battles with stronger bosses that will not go down easily. Every time you defeat them, you can receive an item with a special effect as a reward.

Exclusive accessories for Plachta have been added!
Enjoy customizing your characters with these two fashionable accessories!

In the Recipe Expansion Pack "The Art of Synthesis", you can get recipes (10 types) and catalysts (2 types) of synthesis materials with special effects, and in the Recipe Expansion Pack "The Art of Battle", you can use talisman recipes with special effects (5 types) and recipes for items (attack / recovery / enhancement weakness, 10 types). Use these to synthesize more powerful items and advance through battles!

The prequel story starring young Plachta before she meets Sophie in the dream world!

In the Extra Scenario/Area “Atelier Plachta", players can experience the story of a young Plachta after she arrives in Erde Wiege. Joined by Ramizel and Diebold, follow Plachta’s story as it connects to her meeting Sophie all while gathering new materials in a brand new map. Complete young Plachta’s story to unlock items and recipes in the main story as well as the ability to visit the extra area at any time.
