Town Square

Examine the atelier door to move to the town square.
Many facilities can be accessed from here.

Atelier

Marie's base of operations.

Notice

Check your assignments from Professor Ingrid here.

Cauldron

Synthesize items here.

Bed

Lets you rest and skip time.

Significantly heals HP, MP, and fatigue.

Bookshelf

Check your Guide here.

You can also find it in the Main Menu.

Diary

Allows you to save, load, and perform various other functions.

Changing Room

Change the characters' outfits.

Any extra outfits (typically available as paid DLC) will also be displayed here.

Change BGM

Change the in-game music.

Decoration

Change the atelier's decor. Appears after obtaining a decorative item.

Decorative items will become available for purchase as you progress through the game.

Door

Exit to the town square. Returning to the atelier will cause 1 day to pass.

Sky Tavern

A place to gather info and pick up quests from the townsfolk.
Accept and turn in quests or listen to rumors.

Accepting/Turning In Quests

Speak with the staff to take on quests.
Turn in the requested items by the deadline to receive a coin reward and increased reputation.
The coin reward will decrease if you miss the deadline.
Missing the deadline by 10 days or more will cause you to fail the quest, resulting in no reward and decreased reputation.
Available quests change every 10 days.

Direct Quests

Sometimes adventurers will bring quests directly to your atelier.
Complete them to receive coins, reputation, and increased friendship.

Rumors

Dio, the establishment's owner, often picks up interesting rumors.
Hearing them will cost you some coin, though.

Weapon Shop

At the weapon shop, you can buy and sell equipment.
You can only buy gear that Marie or previously hired companions can equip.
Only gear that nobody is using can be sold.

Academy

At the Academy, you can buy alchemical ingredients, utensils, and references that teach recipes.
You can also sell certain items here.
These items change every 10 days and can be checked from the town map.

Town Map

Press the designated button while in town to open the town map.
Use the map to jump to certain locations or check which items can be sold at the Academy.

Hiring Help

Hiring Adventurers

Adventurers can be hired by speaking to them around town.
The higher their friendship stat, the easier they will be to hire.
Some may charge a fee for their services.

Hiring Fairies

You can hire different colored fairies in the Fairy Forest.
Give a hired fairy directions and pay their wage, and they will gather or synthesize designated items in Marie's place.
Each color of fairy will have a different working speed, synthesizable Item Rank, and wage requirement.
